    Default 80% kit

So I started buying an AR or two, then went to buying upper and lower and putting them together, then to buying all the parts and putting together - so now I'm thinking 80% route. I would need the lower obviously then the jig. This seems like a good deal, a nice aluminum lower and all the parts/jig? Any issues with this and is $185 with free shipping good - it seems to be ?

Find a member here named cellboothmanager. He sells the 80% kits.

Just a word of caution on some of these kits. The jigs can be specific to the lower, so one size may not fit all.

If you do get an AR 15 lower, try to find one with the rear takedown area already machined out. Makes the cutting a bit easier.

If you are planning on using a drill press, get one that is either a floor model or has a clearance greater than 12 inches.

And an X-Y axis vice for the jig, while not needed, will make the cuts more accurate.

And get a few cans of WD40 for the cutting.
    gotta love her ;)
