I figured I would show you guys some sexy pictures of my new toy..
Yugo M70AB2 AK47 (Underfold). I needed some wood in the collection.

It is my first AK, and my new favorite in the family, and she loves the camera.
The photos are not as good as OTHERS, due to the fact that I need a new camera. But she still looks good, and shoots even better.

Very nice ... I really like the Yugos a lot. They look great with wood ... not a fan of the black plastic.

Be warned ... they tend to be addictive.

Nice!! I'm hoping to have mine with in 2 weeks! (Maybe sooner!) I can already see that I'm gonna need an underfolder (unless you wanna trade every few weeks! LOL)

I do want a Yugo underfolder...or maybe I'll just put wood on my Vector underfolder. Decisions, decisions...

The Tacticool rails and plastic are cool looking.
But there is just something about wood on an AK.
It just gives me, whats the word i'm looking for?................Oh yeah, wood.

You guys are right, they are addictive.
I think I need to get one with a butt stock as well.

Gotta love wood on an AK! Here is my Rommy I refinished the wood and metal also polished the bolt. I'm looking to get another one, underfolder this time most likely a Yugo.

This one has exceptionally nice wood. I dug through about 25 of them before a found this one at the VF show a few years ago. The dealer was getting pissed and kept saying "There all the same do you have to open all the boxes"

That is beautiful. What did you use on the wood, it looks great?

I use aircraft stripper to remove the old finish from any rifle that I refinish especially WW2 guns that are real cruddy, you can get it at Walmart. Then I beached the wood let it dry and gave it a light sanding and good once over with super fine steel wool. 3 coats of Minwax Sedona Red 3 coats of high gloss Polly using super fine steel wool in between and after the last coat has dried to knock the gloss down to a super smooth and hard low sheen finish.

Metal was finished with flat black Duracoat.

Alot of nice stuff in here. Like the yugo underfolder. Beautiful wood on the one posted by K31. I'll refrain, as, I like the wood, but I own the poly. Its lighter, and I like the all black look.
