Philly Gun Unit Phone Doesn't Work

I am waiting for my LTCF approval letter in philly. It has been about 40 days, so I figured I should call and check up. There is an automated message system that has an option "press 4 for stays check," but the message is unavailable and the system hangs up on me. Anybody had any luck calling to check on their LTCF?

Yep,and I'm going to have to deal with them again pretty soon.I doubt if the crew has changed from a few years ago but they were an unprofessional bunch of people.

We are being rolled by all cops and all levels of government and need to come up with a way to teach them a lesson. Shaking our heads and complaining is doing nothing but allowing matters to worsen.

I applied on or about Dec. 8th and received my approval letter end of February. You probably just have to wait a little longer. The Gun Unit was closed for a few weeks near Christmas which probably caused a back log. If you were denied, your letter comes by certified mail.

Thanks for all the responses. Ended up going to the office and they said it's not ready. I'll give the letter another week, then head to the office personally for a pickup. They wrote a number on a slip of paper. I assume I give them the number to be serviced? I'm no conservative, but you don't have to be Republican to see the gross inefficiency and abuse of power going on at all levels of government.
