Default What kind of pistol is this?

Just reading a story from the New York post. Basically some guy bought a forged NYPD ID online and they raided his house. They discovered an AK-47, eight handguns, five shotguns, two hunting rifles and six flare guns (OMG!) , along with a pistol version of an AR15 that was found to be stolen from Pennsylvania.

OK, the AR was stolen so this guy was a POS. But as usual the NY post doesn't know anything about firearms.....

I wouldn't consider this an AR pistol.........What is it?

Have you ever fired one or seen one being used? Both I saw were total garbage.

Just one at the group shoot.
I can't comment on their "quality" - I just think they are more pistol-like than an AR pistol.

It uses AR mags and fires the same round as the AR so it confused them....I've fired over 1000 rounds through mine without a problem.

They have always been total garbage which is why Keltec continues to proudly produce them. These are actually NJ legal since they meet the size/weight requirement for a pistol that fires a rifle caliber and the range/shop I frequented daily had several as rentals that never worked and just about even one they sold came back and was sent out for some sort of repair.

State police inspector would bust their balls each time they had a compliance inspection even though he knew they were legal so between that and them sucking they pulled them off the line scrapped them and stopped selling them.
