What does this shop look like? Their web page is unique to say the least, a lot of make your own price items. That + the posts makes me wish it was closer so we could see it.

WE told you if you have that in your car without paperwork on the said item you could do jail time over a non registered nfa sbr because it was an 80 percent lower! i told you when you work on gun the atf does not car that you do not know the gun laws its up to you to figure them out before you get in trouble! Any 80 % lower built into a working firearms must be serialised after it can fire a projectile like a gun. So the guy writing the post is a total moron ! and one thing this worlds doesnt need is another one of those your the guys causing the gun guys all the problems with trying to skirt the law with illegal firearms! if you think your gun is legal go into shippensburg police station with it un serialised in an nfa sbr form and see what happens!! for all the other people om here you want to bully my 15 yr old son go ahead i will have every one of you on this site sued and arrested for bully a kid when your a grown man!! lets settle it on the range your build who you said could out shoot my son and your gun build ! if he beats you you have to remove post and appoligise for bully a kid when your a grown man you should be ashamed of your self and everyone on here that agreed to him! classy form
OMG it just doesn't stop!!! I have never built an 80% lower. I used a bare lower but not an 80% so I don't know where you got that.

I wouldn't trust the Shippensburg police force to know anything about guns when their chief is always advocating for stricter gun control in the papers and refuses CLEO signatures for NFA.

Dude I've seen you and your son shoot at ship fish and game and you guys aren't exactly David tubbs reincarnated so.....

Please keep this up its amazing! You be you man...

Just for the record, the laws and regs that apply to a manufacturer who is licensed and in the business of making firearms for sale, are NOT the same as the laws and regs applicable to private individuals who make a gun for their own personal use. There's some overlap, but they are not the same, because the Feds still have some concept that "commerce" is required to directly regulate the gun business (except for the 1934 NFA, which was based on the taxing power; the 1968 GCA and subsequent laws were based on the commerce clause).

So if I make myself a rifle out of Home Depot bar stock and tubing, I don't always have to apply a serial number. On the other hand, if I want to make an NFA firearm out of it, ATF will require a serial number to be listed and engraved, along with the maker's name, city and state. Where on the gun they get engraved is another topic.

If I was suckered into one of the trendy trusts (because everyone "knows" they are the best way to own NFA...somehow), then the name and address of the trust would be engraved on the firearm, if the trust is the registrant. In that case, my name is irrelevant to the Form 1 and the firearm.
