diego. If you go to the RRA website they explain it. Yes you can shoot 223 rem,5.56x45. i guess this would be considered a match chamber. You can probably go up to 80 grain loads. I will post the link. This upper is designd for accuracy not blasting. Thats why my round count is low.

On the top of the page it asks what is a wylde chamber. These uppers complete go for 630 new. This is well worth the money.
