South Hills(Bethel Park) Any place to shoot???
Hi - just moved to South Hills about 2 months ago. I've been to Anthony arms and while they seem like real nice folk, it's damn expensive since you have to buy for their ammo.
Any place close to me to shoot indoor pistol? I heard rumblings of a Mt. Lebanon public range? (is someone pulling my leg?)
Thanks!
Charles

Yes you can shoot at the Mt Lebanon Police range. In the August or September Mt Lebanon Magazine the recreation center will list the pistol shooting class. It is limited to .22 only. I think it is less than $50 and meets 13 or 14 times between Sept and Dec and again in Jan through April.
It is held on Tuesdays and limited to I think 32 participants. Each line of shoots for .45 minutes. This is target shooting only.
The range is in the maintenance building on Cedar Blvd off Gilkeson Rd.

If your looking for a range to join, you can check out Mt. Lebo/Dormont Sportsmans Club. It's actually located around McMurray (south of Bethal Park). I don't know their link but if you go the "Ranges" section and look under washington county. It's listed there.

I live in the southern part of Bethel Park, near Library actually, and am a member at PMSC. Nothing compares to it, yeah its a drive, but well worth it.
Check it out. I can meet you there to show you around if you are interested.
