My pet peeve is the lack of a picture in the ad. If you're to lazy (or stupid) to post a picture (or a link) of the gun you're selling you shouldn't be permitted to post the item.

I'm hoping its just laziness and not that these gun owners are inept when it comes to technology (like taking a picture with their cell phone).

This is a self-limiting behavior on the part of sellers who can't/won't provide photos. There's no more effective way to ensure that your item(s) WON'T sell than to not include a photo. People want to see what they are buying, and digicams and cell phones are an easy and inexpensive way to provide such photos. If the ads don't show photos, or list "EM/PM for photos" that leads me to conclude that the seller is either lazy or does not want to open a photo hosting account, to their loss.

They sure can, but it makes you wonder what's going on in a persons mind sometimes. I saw one ad yesterday for a gun where the seller had just reduced it to $360. But if you look on different gun sites the gun sells for about $180 brand new now.

Even worse is no pix of SOF magazines. What months are they? Are the covers mint?...

A co-worker bought something from Nancy a few years ago. Some part, not a gun. Met at the side of a road and for that transaction at least "Nancy" was a guy. We got a good laugh out of that
