    Default MP Shield vs XDS

I generally carry a Glock 19, and it's by far my favorite gun but a little bulky without a coat on. Deep summer carry is an LCP custom.

Looking for a tweener, preferrably a single stack 9 that I can carry IWB.

I was disappointed handling the G43, the MP Shield felt good in my hands but the XDS felt the best by far to me as far as balance, etc.

What would you guys and gals recommend based on experience with either of these, or is there another option I should consider

    Thanks

In that category, the two I like the most are the Shield and Walther PPS.

    You mean the PPS right?

I'm looking at a new PPS m2 myself, as well as the shield, xds, and 43. No clue what I want yet. They're all good guns. Get what feels best

I have the 43, Shield and XD-S (in .45). They have all exceeded my expectations in that size gun / caliber. Previously owned 2 Kahrs, so that was my experience. Not to cop out, but you can't go wrong with any of them in my experience. My XD-S has been spectacularly reliable, so if it feels the best to you, I'd say go for it.

Normal EDC is XDS45 or XDS9......both 1000% reliable, great ergos, EASY to carry both IWB and OWB, and Accurate beyond me.

I do have PRP trigger in both and they rock. Can't recommend enough.

Why not just a G26....its not that big. The thickness is negligible IMHO.

He already said he carries a glock 19 and an LCP but wants something inbetween. That strikes out the glock 26 as its just as wide as the 19 and width is the biggest factor with IWB. Carrying a 19 and 26 is practically the same.

I carry the 19 and LCP as well and like I said im in the exact same boat. I want as single stack 9 to replace my LCP carry. Going to use that as a hidden car gun or just throw it in a pack. I'd rather have the 9 then the 380 on me. Sometimes just don't feel like carrying a double stack handgun.
