Looking for suitable range for Vehicle Defense class
Hey all.
I'm looking to help out Aaron Cowan of Sage Dynamics. He had a Vehicle Defense class scheduled in Elizabethtown on May 14th-15th, but due to a scheduling mixup the range had to back out after students had registered and arrangements were made. I'm trying to see if there's another range anywhere in Eastern PA (and by that I mean east of Pittsburgh) that might be able to accommodate him for those dates.
No classroom space is necessary. We'd just need to be able to drop 2-3 junk cars there (we would supply and have them hauled away) and have a decent berm to shoot into, preferably covering 180-270 degrees of fire, but less would be workable as well. Berms would need to be able to handle rifle and pistol rounds. Class size would be 12-15 students.
I've attended this class before in Atlanta, and it was great. Here's a link to a video of that class, which should give you some idea of what we'd need:

If you know of some place that would be willing to accommodate us, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.Si vis pacem, para bellum

Lots of usable spots in north Philly, or over in west Philly by the animals. The Zoo is over there, so that guy that likes to infer that we are all racists can just stand down!

Since the Instructors are affiliated with NTOA (here in Doylestown, PA), why don't they ask NTOA for a range recommendation?
The roadblock is most ranges only allow single direction training, from a static shooting position to fixed target line. The key is to find a range that allows dynamic 360 degree movement. I also think you may need high range backstop, as bullets passing through auto glass can take an abnormal flight path. Perhaps a range in a former quarry or with a very high hill as part of the range backstop.
One range that comes to mind is Easton Fish and Game.Last edited by SAPPERJoe; February 20th, 2016 at 09:35 AM. Reason: Spelling

I actually belong to EFGA, but they've been less than accommodating in the past when I've tried to get other classes held there. As far as I know they only allow one company to hold classes there.
