    Default Help Identifying a Revolver

A friend finally looked through a deceased relatives effects transferred to her several years ago. One of the items was a pouch she thought was likely shaving equipment. The (poor) photo she managed to send me shows the revolver it actually contained.

I'll be able to get better photos including identifying the marks on it in a couple of weeks, but I couldn't resist putting up the picture I have and asking "Anyone know what this is?"

Yes, a bicycle gun of some sort, probably not worth anything but it looks to be in OK condition.

Looked on Gunbroker using the search term "Belgian" Here is the result:

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=542407171

Called it a "Belgian Spur Trigger .32 caliber revolver." The pics even show the same diamond pattern on the grips. The barrel length is given as 1.75 inches which seems to correspond to the OP's picture. If the revolver were flipped over and there is a manual safety lever, the identification could be considered confirmed.
A Russian tale: Prince Igor is hunting in the woods in the dead of winter. The icy wind makes his eyes tear. A bird turns to another bird and says,"Look! He's crying!" The other bird says,"Don't watch his eyes, watch his hands."
