Looks like we made it to -2. Does not feel that cold. So far there is no wind.

I just took the dogs out. They said screw this and headed back to the house.

Our upstairs thermometer reads -15°F. Our downstairs thermometer reads -11°F.

I don't know which one to rely on while getting dressed to go out. I don't want to overdress.

I just came back from my morning 3 mile walk (even if I don't lift or exercise the rest of the day I know I did something). It is 10F and maybe 10mph variable WNW wind.

Parka, base layer, midweight fleece, microfleece balaclava. I was overdressed with the midweight fleece and had to open some zippers once I hit the turn and had the wind at my back. The balaclava was essential,though. The wind is a bitch on bare skin.

12 degrees this morning. They are calling for snow by lunch and ice and rain by Tuesday morning.

The range was open Sunday, fuck me it was cold, but at least the tips made it worth it.
