Gun Broker
I'm doing a poll here about Gun Broker. Yes you can find some great deals there, but how many of you have had issues with their customer service? I know that I have. Got blamed for something that I had no idea about first off. (nonpay bidder) When it was addressed it may have even been a year or two later. That's how often I search there, which was only when I couldn't find what I was looking for at my favorite shop and alternatives. Which wasn't that often. So I submitted a ticket to request the information to pay up, even-though I knew nothing of the transaction. That is when it got crazy since my account was already suspended for it. I go no response for over 30 days nothing......... Mind you their End User Agreement states that they respond within 48 hrs. So technically they breached their own agreement. So I started with sending several requests in a weeks time that was unanswered as well. So I sent many daily for a few days. So I finally got an enraged response to the may requests that I sent out. And instead of answering what was requested I got a lecture on spamming their system and was banned. How's that for customer service. So fast forward to over 6 years later. (I know that it's been at least that long cause of family events). I didn't remember the login information and decided to go all new. BOOM Immediately the new account is flagged! So when I asked why I was told that I have an account already that is active. So I proceeded to tell them how can an account be active that has not been used in over 6years? As per your End User Agreement if there has been no activity for a year the account is closed? So I got the "I'm gonna psyche you out with I.T. jargon". Little did the person know that's what I do! So I have proceeded to point out their SLA and how they are not honoring it and doing whatever they feel, including holding grudges like children because their actions have been called out. The bad part is, they won't admit to their end in any of this. Is this a company that should be doing business if they cannot and will not honor their WRITTEN AND POSTED Service Level Agreement? Please share you experiences good and bad with dealing with Gun Broker Customer Service.

Re: Gun Broker
I've had very good luck with Gunbroker, especially with finding particular Smith & Wesson revolvers. I only buy from sellers with a lot of feedback and only buy from sellers that accept credit cards for payment.

I don't see a poll ... Do you see a poll? ... I don't see a poll.
I've bought and sold a few items - both rifles and handguns - during the past year with zero problems.

Re: Gun Broker
As a result of my experience with Ebay, I don't do auctions or private party sales that are not face to face. Too much drama, bullshit and odds of being ripped off. I don't need to "save money" bad enough to put up with it.

Re: Gun Broker
I've never used Gunbroker, but I know a few guys who have with no problem...or at least with no problem large enough to mention to me.
By the way, were your contacts with GB devoid of spacing, punctuation, correct spelling? What caused the "nonpay bidder" claim on their part? Did you buy something and back out of the deal? Did you have the winning bid on something and then just walk away from the site hoping the seller would forget about your bid?
The customer service department of companies usually usually spend their time and energy on retaining customers. After all, it is in their department's name. They don't really spend time or energy on perceived deadbeats. If they push off a deadbeat, they risk losing a customer they probably don't want anyway.

Re: Gun Broker
I like gunbroker, but you have to be extremely selective and patient to get good deals.I only ever look for good shooters, collector grade guns are a crap shoot. I use the site frequently For mostly positive outcomes.

Re: Gun Broker
I have only bought 2 guns off gunbroker which I hadn't been able to find after months and months of searching.
Generally I use them as a barometer for pricing.Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Re: Gun Broker
Paragraphs please.
I have never purchased anything off of gunbroker as I've never found any great deals on what I was looking for. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.
Paragraphs please
