Looking for a club
Howdy,
I'm looking for a place to shoot that's relatively close to Nazareth. I know there are a number of clubs in the area, but I'm not sure if they will have what I am looking for. Rather than cold call all of them, I figured I'd ask for some input to limit the search ahead of time.
Ideally, I'd like a place where I can shoot off a bench at 25 and 50 yards to do some rimfire ammo testing. I'd also like a 100 yard or longer range for shooting larger rifles. Eventually, I'd like to try some real bench rest shooting. Also, I did a bit of IPSC shooting a number of years ago and I'd be interested in doing more of that type of thing but it's not a huge priority.
Any suggestions on an area club that would cover that?

Belfast or Stockertown ranges. Both ok. I shoot at Belfast not so many rules. 25 bucks for the year. Range is beat up right now though. But adequete for what you are looking for. I havent been to the range in Stockertown in many years.

Blue Ridge Cherry Valley has most of what you are looking for. Nice rifle range and pistol range and great people. They have a rifle range with backers at 50 and 100yds. They have IDPA matches on the second Sunday of each month and IDPA practice on Thursday nights. They also have trap shooting.

Try Stockertown Rod & Gun Club off of Main St. Just outside of Nazarith. They have a decent rifle range but it may be less than 100yds. Here is their E-Mail stockertownrgc@aol.com you can get all the info needed.
