    Default Glock or Sig

Very simple and easy what's your preference and why. What models do you have or prefer in what calibers.
Not interested in other makes if it's not these two please don't respond...

    "Glock or Sig?"

    Yes.

    SIG P220 (2), P225 (2), P6 (4), P227 SAS Carry (1), P228 (3).
Glock G19 G3 (currently carried by my youngest), G19 G4 (2, one by my wife, one by me when not carrying P227 or P228).

Both are fine. Both are reliable. Different feel altogether. Glock is striker fired, most Sigs are DA/SA. You need to decide which action type you prefer. I really like my Sig P228 feel and trigger in SA, but I'm not that good with a quick first shot in DA. Not enough practice. Glock trigger is lighter than the Sig DA pull.

I carry a 226 in 9mm or a G19 most of the time. The G19 is a bit lighter & more easily concealed, but I really prefer the 226.

Had a G23 for six months and traded it. Have had a Sig SP2022 for longer and love it. Definitely not a carry gun, but it's my HD pistol. Shoots great for me. I like the DA/SA

Glock 19 for concealed carry, Glock 17 or 34 for range/competition. I am not a da/sa guy, so I would vote for the Sig p320 with a apex trigger kit in it.

All of the above, depending upon your application.

I do prefer swiss/german and Austrian manufacture of either to NH or GA.
