Was just on NFA tracker.

Form 1's e-filed in July are looking like 280-300+ days. Paper looks a bit shorter, around 240.

So my July 10th e-files should be here any day. And my paper filing of the same time, wait, should have been here few weeks ago. Faint hope turns to depression...

Approved 5-16-17.
311 days.

I filed 2 on 7-9-16 so hopefully the other will be approved in a couple days.

I called on May 4th. The woman I spoke to said they were currently working on the forms they received in the first week of July, 2016. They are running 10 months right now.

2nd one approved on 5-19-17. Now just a paper filing out there.

Just called the ATF and my Obsidian 45 was finally approved on May 27th. Still no call from the dealer but it's a little early. Purchased June 3rd. Form 4 submitted July 4th and check cashed July 12th. 319 days from check cashed or 358 days since I paid for it.

Its been 14mos and just called atf, they have no record of the form, but I have a credit card statement with a 200.00 atf
charge on it. Weird thing is it was charged for a form 7cr which is a c&r or ffl. I was directed to "scotts" office,
in which I left a message.

I just got off the phone with a woman from atf, she said that if I didnt go all the way back,
to the first page and hit submit, the e-form will just sit there dormant, but my cc will be charged.
She put me in touch with a gary shivel, he is in charge of the e-form dept. I left him a message.

BTW, the woman was very nice, we talked for 15min about the nfa process, they get 10k forms a day,
and they are working 7days a week including holidays.
