Re: 2016 NFA wait time
I bought it used... The previous guy had FTE issues, and sent it out to get fixed by a reputable MP5 smith. He did fix the FTEs, but when I bought the gun, the charging handle was very hard to run... The smith put in an LSC ejector, which had a tendency to get caught on the bolt carrier. I replaced it with an HK one. That made the gun run smoothly, reliably, and made it easy to charge. It's been a while since I shot it though, mainly because I've been waiting for this stamp to come back. An MP5 pistol just isn't so easy (or rather, pleasant) to shoot.

Re: 2016 NFA wait time
Is the suppressor used also? It looks like it's a little dinged up. I kid... I know that's how KAC's come. It's interesting that your form 1 and 4 took the same amount to time as my experience has been form 1's get approved quicker than the 4's. Still waiting on a July 12th cashed check form 4, hoping I'll see it before Christmas.

*High-5* to a fellow MP5 SBR lover. Mine is a Special Weapons build.

Re: 2016 NFA wait time
Finally got my last two eForm 1s back. Submitted on 7/3/16 and approved on 3/30/17. A couple days shy of 9 months. Now to acquire a 10.5" 9mm PSA upper and to get the barrel of my Remington 870 Express Magnum chopped and faced to 12".
~9 months on those two eForm 1s make me think I'll be lucky to get my KAC NT4 QDSS (filed 10/16) and AAC Ti-RANT 9 (filed 11/16) within a year of filing.

Re: 2016 NFA wait time
Im at about 280 days on a paper form 1 (individual), and I've officially reached the point where I'm agitated every day my stamp isn't in the mailbox. Fuck the government.
