2016 NFA wait time

Stole this pic from over on ARFCOM....might already be posted in this thread but I didn't check. One day of submittals from silencer shop to the ATF.



Lots of people estimating that we are getting a year long wait time thanks to the demand created by 41f.

As an FYI I submitted a form 4 for an octane 9 on 03/30/16. ATF debited my card a few days later (04/03/16). I called the ATF yesterday on an unrelated matter and had them check on that can. The paperwork for it has not even entered their system yet.

Just called ATF and my 2 pending form 4's should be coming up for approval within 2 weeks.

Ahhhhh I just had a form 1 efile disapproved for a mistake I made on the form. I submit a new form with the corrections they asked me to fix, no worries right........WRONG! Usually if they disapprove you they tell you to submit a new form 1 with the corrections call in with the disapproved and the new control permit numbers and they check it over and expedite your new form and should be approved in a couple days. Well I call in and they tell me since the 41P they are no longer doing that and I have to go to the back of the line so I waited 3 months to get disapproved now God knows how long I have to wait till the get to me.

Email Ted Clutter with the old and new control numbers and he should have you approved within a couple days.

Just pick up a few lowers today at the gun show to file as SBR's. Anyone know if your a FFL holder if the forms get approved faster ?
