Yea, well,...ahem... We were talking about motorcycles.

Mines in the driveway with a tarp over it. I don't bother to put it away for winter because if its over 30, I'm usually riding.
Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.

I'm waiting for .gov to claim feet are a conveyance. The example of the horse drawn cart doesn't require the cart, just a horse will do to cross the law. Not that far a leap from its hooves to your feet. Just thought about it, leap frog no leap frogging or horsey rides when armed unless licensed.

Is there any other kind of condition on a scooter?

Sure. Could be a bright, sunny, not too hot day.

Old post bump but ran into it and wanted to reply. This differs from Open Carry. This would be considered Transporting Firearms which expects you to separate firearms and ammo from each other and place in separate compartments. This exempts LTCF holders but leaves the question; do you wind up constantly getting pulled over by police and harassed till they check your LTCF....

Can you please cite the PA state law that addresses "transporting" firearms, while remaining completely in PA and never leaving?

Wow that was hard. Very 1st link that came up on Google. So easy even you could find it (perhaps not...)

Simply put, open carry does not extend to vehicles in Pennsylvania

Car carry in Pennsylvania is governed in part*by 18 Pa.C.S.A. § 6106. In many states,*it is no problem*to*have a firearm (meaning a handgun) in your vehicle whether you have a license to carry a firearm or not. In Pennsylvania, this is not the case. The minute you enter your vehicle with your firearm (meaning a handgun), it becomes covered under 6106.

Even*if*your*handgun*is on*your hip, open and exposed, and even if it is on the dash so everyone can see it, the minute you get in the car, it might as well be in your shoulder rig under a jacket.

Under §6106, “any person who carries a firearm in any vehicle or any person who carries a firearm concealed on or about his person, except in his place of abode or fixed place of business, without a valid and lawfully issued license under this chapter commits a felony of the third degree.”

No shit, Sherlock, but it's "Carry in a vehicle", NOT "transporting". There is NO PA law in regards to "transporting" a firearm.

The "transporting" requirements you cite are for interstate travel and have ZERO bearing on being able to legally schlep a gun around within the state if you are unlicensed.
