Re: Developing - 5 killed in Philly naval yard shooting
Once again all it REALLY proves is that security at malls is a joke and Cops CANT be everywhere. Of course the Dems would like a cop on every corner as a "deterrent", and a personal escort (if not a 757) yet they have NO idea how to pay for ANY of it!
However, LTCF/CCW holders are FREE!if you ever see my post edited...its most likely for speling :D

Skeet is a sport where you are better to hit half of each bird then completely blast one and miss the other completely.
The choice is yours, place your faith in the court system and 12 of your peers, or carried away by 6 friends.

Re: Developing - 5 killed in Philly naval yard shooting
Unfortunately a LTC holder cannot always be relied upon to be effective. Where was it and who was the guy that tried to intervene in another mall shooting (Washington state?) and his CZ was so dirty / rusty from not being maintained that it jammed or wouldn't even fire? Didn't the guy get shot and killed?
The average gun carrying citizen who has never even performed a drawstroke and who possesses no skills is highly unlikely to produce a positive outcome.

Did anyone else notice that the shooter and victims were not residents of PA but Delaware, New York and New Jersey?

Re: Developing - 5 killed in Philly naval yard shooting
I use to carry concealed for years. I was an LEO and carried a 45 as an off duty weapon. I got out of the habit of carrying, and haven't done so for a long time. It is the shooting in Utah, and shootings around my "usual quite neighborhood" that have led me to the local gun shop to once more purchase a firearm. Then off to the local county seat for my LCCF. I too hope it doesn't have the opposite effect on the anti gunners out there. But this is the kind of stuff they need to push the stupidness thru. I'm just sorry it took this kind of action for me to wake up and get back in the saddle and start showing my support again.
