Cabelas does occasionally have good deals. About 3 years ago while living in AZ, Wife and I just got out of a PHX Coyotes game and decide to swing in to the Cabelas across the street. I saw a nice little compact 220 with aluminum grips, night sights, SAO. Just curious I asked how much and he tells me $499.88. My wife's face was priceless as she blurted "for a Sig? that's cheap!". I wanted to confirm the price and he tells me it's on clearance (discontinued) as evidenced by the .88 at the end of the price. The only thing better than that deal was my wife buying it for me as an early Birthday present. Life is good.

As for the 357 Sig, it is by far my most favorite caliber. It kicks, it's loud, it's flash is big and bright. But it's accuracy for me is impressive. I can often group better at 25 yards with 357 Sig than I can at 15 yards with 9mm. And I'm not a good shot by any means. It's a travesty it fizzled somewhat but as long as I can get used brass off of gunbroker, I'm a happy camper.
