Rossi R98106
Thinking of getting a Rossi 22 revolver, i already have a single action Heritage 22/22 mag, i would like to have a 22 in double action, anyone have any experience with Rossi firearms, also the reason i'm going with Rossi instead of Taurus is i can get the gun in blued finish.

Re: Rossi R98106
I don't have a .22 Rossi but the .357 I have has the best out of the box trigger I have ever had. It's very smooth and it breaks at 4 pounds.

I have their model R46102 .357 magnum revolver. It has never given me any trouble.

Re: Rossi R98106
Nothing inherently wrong with Rossi but my opinion would be to spend a little more money on a ruger such as a sp101 model 5765 or the new gp100 .22. I'd note that the LCR 22 is very nice in a polymer revolver. Of course they cost a fortune but S&W and Colt both made beautiful da 22lr revolvers. Colt 22 police positive might be sub-500 range too.
High standard double nine looks neat too...Last edited by IrocGuns; January 19th, 2016 at 02:02 PM.

Re: Rossi R98106
I thank all of you for your replies, it is good to know that Rossi 357s are a good revolver for the money, that makes me think that a Rossi 22 would be just as good for the money spent on one, to those who say just spend a little more for a xxx, i see no need to spend $400 to $700 on a 22 double action revolver just because it's a Ruger or a S&W, that is just too overpriced for a 22, i do not shoot in competition, i plink at golf balls, tin cans and paper targets, and yes, i carry a 22 for SD as it is all i can handle, i like blued over stainless, and i prefer a 6 inch barrel over a 2 or 4 inch barrel, i hope i have cleared up any questions reguarding my question about Rossi 22 revolvers.

Re: Rossi R98106
I've never owned one of their .22 revolvers, but the .38spl Model 68 and .44spl Model 720(both pre-Taurus) I had/have worked perfectly.

Re: Rossi R98106
I had a .357 cyclops. Big heavy gun. Nice trigger accurate as all get out.
Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.
