Threaded Barrel for Colt Model "M"
Looking for threaded barrel for my type III Colt Model "M" .32ACP/7.65B
Prefer new virgin barrel, extended & threaded, but haven't ever heard of one available. :^)
Would consider a well crafted adapter if someone is willing to make one.
I've thought about internally threading the muzzle of an existing barrel
for the adapter, but I have no idea if that's a practical solution or not?
I want to fix up one of my old Colts as a suppressor host but I need to figure out
how to attach one to it before I go thru the expense & paperwork...
Thoughts?

Re: Threaded Barrel for Colt Model "M"
if it has a barrel bushing, you could do the following:
1. open the inside of the bushing so that the collar on the supressor would fit inside the bushing.
2. Thread the barrel to connect the supressor to the barrel.
3. Have a thread protector made to cover the barrel threads.
or have the slide altered to hold a supressor.
That's all I could think of from the top of my head ATM.
Hope that helps.gotta love her ;)

Re: Threaded Barrel for Colt Model "M"
Thanks, the type III that I already have has no barrel bushing...
I've been looking for a shooter/experimental grade Type I or II too and they do...
Eventually someone will make new barrels for these fine old guns, especially since they've been reissued...
