Re: ACT 235 Training
Where does one get the oc, handcuffing, and tazer training? 235 doesn't cover these I assume, correct?

Re: ACT 235 Training
I think your new employer would send you or bring someone inhouse for training. This way you will get the training they want you to have and the right amount of hours.

Re: ACT 235 Training
Alot of employers will pay for your baton, handcuff and oc certifications. Some expect you to have that already.
I know someone who is a OC and Handcuff instructor certified in the Lehigh Valley that can certify you.
Send me a PM if your interested I can get you in contact with that person.

Re: ACT 235 Training
Taser training is going to have to be conducted by your employer. Non-LEO (ie, security companies) can be certified but will only be allowed to train their own employees.
Frequently, your employer will either pay for your training or have an in house instructor to do OC, cuffing, and baton training. This is a liability issue for them and they want to cover their ass.
