Caught on video: Restaurant worker cold-cocked, suspect then driven away by co-worker with a gun
Milwaukee police are looking for a man who walked behind the counter of a local restaurant and punched a female worker in the face -- only to be chased away by the woman's armed co-worker.
Surveillance video from the incident, which occurred last week at the George Webb restaurant on Milwaukee’s south side, shows the victim’s co-worker driving the suspect away by taking out a gun to force the suspect away from the victim.

Must be one of those brandishing-a-gun-to-stop-an-assault incidents that we are told never actually happen.
Two women subjected to a sudden unexpected violent attack by a well built man that could have easily beaten them both to death.
Once again we see the gun is the best equalizer for a woman to be able to defend herself against a physically stronger and more violent attacker.

Re: Restaurant worker sucker punched, colleague w/ccw pulls gun on perp
The day before the assault happened Schaefer was given permission to bring her gun to work.
Actually a city alderman supported her.
According to the Alderman Donovan, that employee had a concealed carry permit for the firearm – was successful in getting the suspect to leave the premises.
“One can only imagine what might have occurred if that employee had not pulled out her weapon,” the alderman said.

According to local media, the victim is back at work and she said the restaurant’s owner allows employees to carry a concealed weapon as long as they have a permit.Last edited by Coops; July 8th, 2018 at 09:17 AM.

Re: Restaurant worker sucker punched, colleague w/ccw pulls gun on perp
Yes. She got permission to bring the gun the day before and got ready to draw the second she sees him.
I am thinking the drug dealer perp told them he was "coming back tomorrow" and they were prepared. Although the gun wielder said he was yelling that his order was taking too long and they told him to shut up and wait.
I think it was the same day, immediately after the incident. Probably feared for her life.Last edited by Coops; July 8th, 2018 at 10:03 AM.

How come she didn't shoot him, she drew the gun didn't she? I was just reading not too long ago on this very forum that if you draw your gun you have to shoot. Makes sense to me.
