Default How's the deer hunting in Philadelphia county this season?

I saw the following info on a website tonight:

DEER, ANTLERLESS EXTENDED REGULAR FIREARMS: (Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties):
Dec. 26 –Jan. 23. One antlerless deer with each required antlerless license.

    from: http://archery.biz/pennsylvania/deer-season.shtml

** So what area of Philadelphia County do people hunt deer or any other critters? How is it?

There is a surprising amount of "huntable" land in Northeast Philly. Philadelphia County is restricted to bow/xbow only.

There have been a couple times I have seen deer grazing in the patches of grass surrounding the overpasses to the Philadelphia airport, though I am not aware of any hunting opportunities in that area.

Even NYC has areas open to deer hunting

Where did you hear this? The current NY state hunting regulations guide shows no areas of NYC open to hunting, and that's been the case as long as I've been hunting. The DEP does allow hunting on certain water supply lands owned by NYC in upstate NY, but I've never heard of any part of NYC open to deer hunting.

In the past year, there have been reports of tree stands being discovered in wooded areas of Staten Island in NYC - which is apparently being overrun by deer swimming across from NJ - but hunting from said tree stands is illegal in NYC.

Where in NYC you talking about, the Bronx Zoo? Hell your lucky if you can find a park worthy of holding squirrels in NYC.
