The last time I was there you could shoot steel cased handgun ammo, but no AR Steel cased. Give them a call just to make sure.
    Don’t like me ???? Tough, I don’t give a flying f@@k about ya.

I've been going here for a few years and never had an issue with shooting steel cased 5.56/.223. Steel core, however, is a no-no as the sparks from the rounds have started fires.

Funny. I was the last one to comment almost a year ago.

Well, a lot's changed since then. With the owner taking advantage of Groupon things at the range deteriorated quickly. You can smell and taste the lead after a minute or two on the range (seriously, get a lead test done if you're a regular here -- I'll bet good money you've got some level of lead poisoning), the wait times for members were upwards of an hour (as late as May, the last time I went), the good staff members have mostly all quit, and the prices on firearms have gone up. Oh, and don't dare bring a woman with you -- half the fucking staff with stare at her like a side of prime rib and make awkward jokes and gestures that are not okay.

There is just no good reason to go to DVSC. At this point, they should either upgrade to a filtration system that can actually handle the lead or they should close their doors.
