    Seriously though -
Yet again, instead of going after the criminals, saddle the law abiding citizen with more bull shit regulations because of the actions of the criminals. It make sense to politicians; law abiding citizens don't shoot back. yet

    Who's with me?

Why not? It worked for Solyndra.

All I can say is, I see just how well the fingerprint password on my wife's Iphone DOESN'T work. The last thing I want to have happen is to really need to use my pistol, but have to reboot it before I can use it.

    Sandcut,

Let me start by saying that I believe in the 2nd Amendment and I'm not looking to take everyone's guns away, but the safety of America's children will always trump your bible clinging, paranoid redneck sense of personal safety.

    Sincerely,
    B. Obama

Well then, Mr. President, I recommend that you apoint me to be your new fiream education Czar. I agree that the safety of this Nation's children is paramount. And the mechanism through which we can decrease the number of youths injured or killed by guns is to teach every child in America the exact same program that I taught my own two daughters. An educated child is a smart child and smart kids make smart decisions. If you trust children enough to make the right decision that you teach them sex education in school, then you would logically trust them to make the right decision when educated properly about guns. It is just as easy to make a life as to take one and kids respond well to being given responsibility.

So give me a budget of $50 million dollars and 6 months and I will reduce the number of deaths of children under the age of 18 by 25% within one year.

Oh, and PS, you cling to Bibles more than I do, Mr. President.
