You don't need that. The sheriff wants that. There's a difference.
I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.

True. Honestly this part doesn't bother me too much. Finding references is the hard part for me (finding people i'm comfortable asking).

So I'm about to go apply for my LTCF. Just moved to Pocono Summit 3 months ago from NYC. Don't really know anyone in Monroe well enough to ask to be a reference. And haven't had to do the Berkhimer form yet. After reading some people's experience here of just submitting an application and ignoring the sheriff's extra requirements, I'm feelin' lucky.
Just going to leave out the tax form and give 2 friends from NYC and West Virginia as references. And insist they take the form and try find a legitimate cause to deny it if they try to play the "if we don't accept it, then we don't deny it, then you can't appeal" game.

    Wish me luck.

IMO that is the correct way to handle it. I'm guessing they will just give you a hard time. Just tell them to process the app. or deny you.....their choice.

    Good Luck!!

I'm considering leaving out the tax form and references entirely. Enough of this.

If they give me a hard time, who do I contact to get it sorted?

Not yet. The day I was going to go, work really picked up, so haven't gotten a chance to make it over there. Monday or Tuesday should be good to go. I'll post here with an update on how it goes. But good news is I just got 2 new guns. So that's always nice.

I'm guessing it was either extremely uneventful or you haven't gone.

I'll be heading up when I return from enemy land (CA).

Don't think they call references any more. They didn't for me and a few others in the south east. Hope that being from NY doesn't taint you.
