Re: FNX 45 vs Glock 21
Fnx is the route I went too with the biggest con being lack of aftermarket parts and price/availability of spare mags
I have no regrets but if you hate safeties then you may. Or like this gun
If you paid $800 then you paid too much as they can be had readily for ~$640Montani Semper Liberi

Re: FNX 45 vs Glock 21
I have the FNP-45 which is similar. I like it a lot. But nobody makes adj. sights for it. One thing I found out my mags won't feed Win. white box. FN even replaced my 14 rd mags for 15 rd still won't feed.

Re: FNX 45 vs Glock 21
I have the FNX-45 Tactical and a Glock 22. I like the FNX-45 and never had any feeding issues with it (not sure if I ever tried Win White Box) but I feed all kinds of ammo through it at the rental range without issues. It's a well made gun and I like how it feels when I fire it (except for that grip), it's a remarkable well engineered design, I think you made a great choice.
Because of our business, I have a range of choices for my bedside handgun and there's a Glock 22 sitting there on my side and a Glock 17 on her side... why Glock, because I feel 100% of the time when I pull that trigger on a Glock, it's going to go BANG, but I would feel perfectly comfortable having that FNX-45 sitting there too, just the Glock 22 has a flashlight on it.Washington County Machine Guns & Tactical Range -- CMP Affiliated Club -- FFL 07 / FFL 10 / FEL 20 / SOT 02 / ITAR

Re: FNX 45 vs Glock 21
I'm trying to think of any failure or jam I have had in 2 years with the FNX 45 and can't think of one. It did have to go back to FN for a known fault on earlier ones of the magazine release spring. It seems to eat all jacketed ammo and my belief is that it is inherently more accurate than the Glock.

Re: FNX 45 vs Glock 21
I love the tactical version of the FNX-45 I recently purchased. Great gun, very accurate. The only failures I've seen came from light handloads. Eats all factory stuff up.
I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

Re: FNX 45 vs Glock 21
in my opinion the FNX tactical is a superior weapon compared to the glock. i have the earlier version of the tactical and at 25 yards I can put 4-6 rounds inside a 2" stick on red dot with another 3-4 rounds inside the 10 ring. the FNX tactical's in my area all sell for close to 1200 bucks but I got lucky several years ago and bought one for a little less than 900 when Tanners had a sale.

Re: FNX 45 vs Glock 21
I bought a Police trade-in Glock 21 for $329. Given the delta between $329 and $800, I'd still but the Glock.
Aw, who am I kidding. I'd buy both.
