I've seen that chart before, and I want to know, what are the Union led gun control laws they are talking about? I know about the NFA, but I'm not aware of earlier laws being led the the Unions.

I suspect that the laws enacted in some states around 1865 to 1900 had to do with legislate to prevent blacks and natives from having guns. Why the words "union lead" on the chart? Don't know.

It seems impossible to find specific laws pertaining to that era so it could be a misstatement. The coal strikes of that time must have led to union workers acquiring firearms for self defence.

Let's just hope that Texas doesn't get so smothered with undocumented Democrats who eventually get to vote that it changes the political landscape there.
