Should we all buy Bloomburg an NRA gift membership?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgAncNGh-Hs
Here is a thought. The thread basically outlines it. Apparently his address recently became public, and some people think it would be funny to send him a lot of gift membership.
I kind of think it is a decent idea."Cives Arma Ferant"

Re: Should we all buy Bloomburg an NRA gift membership?
I don’t think this plan is going to have any effect. It’s not very original. I recall back in the 90s the NRA had a program where a current member could enroll a non-member on a free 6 month trial membership. This program was probably created not only in hopes that the trial member extends his or her membership, but also so that it inflated the number of NRA members for a short period of time. Apparently people were signing up Sarah Brady, Diane Feinstein, Ted Kennedy, etc. Shortly after, the NRA send out a correspondence advising their members to stop signing up anti-gun celebrities & politicians etc because it was tying up their (NRA) resources.
Even if people did participate in this prank I would think that the NRA membership component is computerized and will notice the same name, address and other information being put through the system on a repeated basis. Once someone looks into it they will probably notice the name and will shut down this ploy before it goes any further.
Big waste of time.Last edited by eagleclaw; January 4th, 2016 at 11:49 AM.

Re: Should we all buy Bloomburg an NRA gift membership?
In addition to my last post, because he is a former mayor of NYC, billionaire, and has connections to important people, once he notices a wave of NRA membership material arriving his house all he as to do is contact the Post office and tell them to return to sender and tell the P.O. to do the same for any future mail addressed to him from the NRA. Because of his status when he calls the post office he going to get more attention than the average Joe and they are going to do what he says.

You could send a card indicating that you paid for someone else's membership in his honor.

Re: Should we all buy Bloomburg an NRA gift membership?
it could be an interesting "stunt" if enough people partaked. Have people send in say $10 in the name of "Michael Bloomberg." Then the NRA could tally it up at the end of some period (per month? quarter? year?) and use it as propaganda. You don't even have to be an NRA member to make the "donation."
Same could be done for GOA or any other 2A group as needed/desired.

Don't know about Bloomberg and an NRA membership, but the firearm industry owes him a debt of gratitude. His fully funded anti gun organizations spew out their lies, and gun sales increase.

The Grandkids are out of diapers thus I have nothing to send him.
We could take up a collection to buy a case of ammo for HIS PRIVATE SECURITY BECAUSE HIS LIFE IS WORTH MORE THAN OURS.My Feedback - http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...ight=stainless
