Default Took me long enough to get one...

Ive been around shooting arena since mid 2000's, and never got my hand on Glock 19.
So I finally decided to fix that...

I wanted the Vicker's Tactical/Lispey's special Blue frame one, but while RTF frame is cool, I just don't care for Gen 3 frame(probably why I never bought one in the first place).
    So Standard Gen4 G19 I went with.

Then I took it out, and shot 500rds with no fail.
I have had couple of G17's in the past - 2 Gen2, and 1 Gen4, and they all shot to the left.
So I was little nervous about this one, but seems to be doing ok... May be ever so slightly to the left as I shot from farther back...

(please note that for some reason, Tinypic wouldn't load the pic up right. On this pic, left side is actual top of target)
I shot 5 rounds each, from 5yd, 10yd, 15yd, 20yd, and 25yd(total of 25rds), and seems like pretty good group(for off hand anyway). At least all 25 rounds are in paper!

Added the Vicker's Tactical front/rear battle sights. They say front sight is snag free. Yeah right...
front sight has VERY sharp edge that catches on everything!

Very well made, bright and fast sights otherwise...

Ordered Vicker's slide stop and mag release. Should be here in few days.
For a long time, my M&P45 was the go to gun for me. Liked it enough to even over come the physical size. But seems like G19 is just about perfect balance(ammo capacity, size), and that its becoming my go to gun very quickly...

The g19 is imo one of the best handguns on the market for all around usage

I love the G19. It's like it was custom made for my hand. Perfect balance. I wish the 45acp was exactly the same as the G19 instead of the stubby grip.

I also have many guns but not any Glocks. I was thinking of buying a 9mm Glock to go with my Suppressor, yet their web page shows no threaded barrels:

    https://us.glock.com/products/all

I am not going to buy a gun, only to have to spend additional money on a threaded barrel....that is simply pissing money down the toilet.

And WTF is up with Glock offering LEO only models of the 380???? Every time I consider a Glock, something turns me off.

The 42 is the "civilian" .380.

I have never heard of a "non-civilian" 380. What makes it so special that civilians cannot own it? Full auto?

I believe the other model .380s are overseas only. They don't make the points to be imported, so when glock started manufacturing in the U.S the models 42 and 43 were made.

I recently swapped my serrated trigger for a smooth face. Now I wish I could find one for the 43
Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.
