I just Some Brotherly advise...Let her pick the gun that she likes best. If you have the means have her shoot a few, mine liked the lc9s until she fired the shield so it looks like there will be a tiff any blue shield 9mm in my stable...awesome!

I'm with Klutch on this! Take her to a range where she can try several different brands and types until she finds one that fits her hands and she can manipulate and shoot well! Make a date out of it and have fun!

Re: Revolver Safety "how NOT to Shoot a Revolver
I've always known about the "gap blast", but I "learned" of it the hard way back when I used to shoot long range with my Python. For some of the shooting positions I used to shoot I'd be on my back with my knees up, and the revolver pinched between my knees. It didn't take long for me to sew in some leather pads from my the inside of my thighs to the inside of my calves.

Re: Revolver Safety "how NOT to Shoot a Revolver
I hope she is a seasoned shooter and had an opportunity to try one out because that's not a pleasant gun to shoot being an airweight !
I love revolvers but they gotta be big and heavy!
My heavier stainless jframe hurts my hands after a few cylinder fulls.
