1911. But out of those two it is really completely a personal fit and preference thing. Both very reliable, with high accuracy potential. I am not a fan of beretta triggers, prefer the short glock style trigger to the long long pull on a beretta but again, personal preference. Both pistols will service you very well.

    Yippee Ki-yay Futher Mucker!!

Why 34? I'd say a 17 is a more comparable gun to the Beretta 92 series.

BTW, I have both a 17 and an M9. Both great guns, 17 is nicer to carry because of its weight (or lack there of) in comparison to the M9. This extra weight is what make the M9 better on the range for targets. It is the closest a 9mm gets to feeling like you're shooting 22lr.

I voted G34 for your poll.

My answer would be a Witness Elite Match for that price range though. You won't find a finer shooting sub $600 9mm anywhere.

Voted Beretta based on those 2 options, but I agree with Armor Snail - give the EAA line a serious look.

Beretta until the military adopts something else.

You have a duty to own a firearm similar to what the military uses.

Out of those 2 options I picked Glock. Personally, I'd get sig p320 full size or sig p226 with srt.
