It is Gov. Wolf who needs to bend. He has been presented with a budget that can work, but it does not grant him his wish list of paybacks to supporters. He made promises he knew he could not honor, and now it’s time for reality to set in.

Portraying the opposition to his extremist Socialism as “extremist Republicans ” is amusing. See how that works?

This is his first year. He has 3 more to go. He can compromise now and maybe be able to deal with the majority of the state that is not Philadelphia for his next 3 years, or he can hold out and fail miserably.

The bi-partisan compromise concept only works if it works both ways.

No, but as others figured out I am trying to stay at least a bit anonymous. Please try to focus on the fact that the liberal owned Unionville Tmes is just another worthless lib rag not worthy of any business owner's money. Neither I nor my family will patronize any business that advertises in such, and I will advocate the same to my neighbors and to those to whom I grant hunting permissions...
