Default Opinions on concealed carry at musicfest?

What do you think? Have you done it? What sort of security do they have? I searched their web site and found nothing. I e mailed them and got no response.

    just conceal it.
if they have security AND they find it just say "oops, my bad" go put it in your car and come back.

I don't see a problem with it, especially CC. No one will see it therefore nothing could be said.

Patdowns at these things are ridiculously lax. CC away!

    Update
I decided to leave my gun in the car.

We went Friday, for the STP concert, but walked through some of the other areas first. I got a good look at the signs regarding prohibited items, and weapons were not listed.

Going into the concert at Riverplace there was a cursory bag search, but no pat down or metal detectors. The crowd was packed, though. Leaving after the concert we were crammed together literally hip to hip.

Up until the main concert CC would have been no problem. During and after the main concert we were pressed so close I doubt if CC could have been maintained. There was quite a bit of drinking and recreational chemical consumption going on (not by us, of course).

I have to say that uniformed police were everywhere. At all times I was able to keep an officer in sight. I'm sure any incidents would have been responded to immediately.

    Yes, and no.

I'm sure they would have responded to any violent, or dangerous incidents, calls for help, etc. However if they started arresting drug users at the STP concert half or more of the crowd, and very probably the band would have been taken in. If they had been arresting people for public drunkenness then there would have been very few of us left in all of Music Fest, and very few performers to enjoy.

I'm sorry but this still doesn't make it ok. I might add that I am all for legalizing pot but just because I think they should make it legal doesn't mean I say "screw the law" and do it anyway because I don't like that particular law, you know? (I know YOU weren't using so I'm not trying to lecture you or anything). Hell, it's a federal offense to have firearms and illegal drugs in the same house so...no way would I take that chance....I mean, I'm not interested in giving up my firearms or rights to carry. I remember recently reading about K-9's being used at concerts. I am thinking this must be an EXCELLENT deterrent...you'd think? Did they all call off sick for musicfest? (ok I know you can't answer that I'm just saying...)
