Her hey entertainment no longer allows legal carry
What a surprise. We took our daughter to see the Nutcracker , as we do every year. This year was a bit different. No firearms allowed. They we using scanners to check folks. Even worse, the hired mall cops were not armed and the retired and/or off duty police were not armed. The entire facility was defenseless. With all the entertainment technology available at home (huge TV screen, sound system, Roku, Apple TV, XBox, etc.) I have to admit that it's hard for me to justify going to a theater or sporting event, especially when they're not just going to 'ask' that I disarm, but pretty much compel me to do so with a metal detector and/or patdown.

To late to ask for a refund, as you already attended. Now start writing letters that you won't be there next year if it is again a gun free zone.

Re: Her hey entertainment no longer allows legal carry
If a theater or stadium is such a dangerous place that they need to check for weapons, I'm not going.
