Default Her hey entertainment no longer allows legal carry

What a surprise. We took our daughter to see the Nutcracker , as we do every year. This year was a bit different. No firearms allowed. They we using scanners to check folks. Even worse, the hired mall cops were not armed and the retired and/or off duty police were not armed. The entire facility was defenseless. It is private property so as a law abiding citizen I placed my weapon in my car, much unlike a criminal or terrorist would. It was great to hear from my wife after I returned to my seat several people noted to her they wish I was armed. Yes. I made my opinion heard in a respectful yet un private manner. I would love to know who's great idea it is the we were all safer. Potential terrorist arrested in harrisburg, Christian event, no one armed, I felt unsafe and violated in their safe zone. I wish I could sue ...

Even armed, I still would not want to be in a potential shooting gallery.

With all the entertainment technology available at home (huge TV screen, sound system, Roku, Apple TV, XBox, etc.) I have to admit that it's hard for me to justify going to a theater or sporting event, especially when they're not just going to 'ask' that I disarm, but pretty much compel me to do so with a metal detector and/or patdown.

Nobody put a gun to your head and made you go. You could have asked for a refund and went home instead of feeling so violated. What are you goign to sue for? What are your damages?

To late to ask for a refund, as you already attended. Now start writing letters that you won't be there next year if it is again a gun free zone.

If a theater or stadium is such a dangerous place that they need to check for weapons, I'm not going.
