    Default EAA SARS pistol

Anyone familiar with the EAA SARS pistol? CNN has them for less than 300 bucks and I'm looking for a in expensive but reliable first pistol for a female friend.

Yeah, I have one, they're great. Accurate, reliable, and they feel great in your hand.

Only thing is I would be hesitant to shoot +p in them, it doesn't look like a very strong action.

My wife got the EAA Pavona and its only slightly more expensive ($300-320) and it was designed with women in mind. She loves it.

I just transferred one to a customer. Seems to be a decent gun for the money though I thought it seemed a tad bit heavy. Know of two others and the owners said they functioned fine and they have had no problems with them yet.

I've got a K2 .45 and the Mrs has a purple 9mm B6 polymer compact. They are great guns and extremely accurate, especially for what they cost.

CZ75 mags work in the B6's but extend from the grip on the compacts. The compacts have a proprietary baseplate because of the stepped cut on the bottom of the grip, but Baby Eagle polymer mags also work.

Sportsman's Guide has them at the lowest prices I've seen in years.

The Sar pistols work very well, we used two for IDPA with zero issues I have had them for about 4 years now no problems.
