List of Anti Gun Bills

Anybody have a complete list of all the anti gun bills in Harrisburg right now, or a way for me to get them? Need all the info I can get so I can start letting my reps know what they are going to be against in the near future.

Not sure if this is a comprehensive list, but it's a start.

Go to http://www.legis.state.pa.us and use the "find legislation" feature, select keyword & search for "title 18" or whatever you think might give you the best results. "keywords" like "anti-gun" won't give any results since those words aren't in the bill.

As far as I've been able to get, there seems to be 13 house bills. These are HB 18 through 25 28, 30, 277 & 291. Note, all of these bills have the same crew of urban democrats as co-sponsors

HB 30 has a Senate counter-part SB 48 (IIRC)

The Senate version of the Assault Weapons ban is indeed SB48. I've already contacted my State Senator, Rafferty, about it. Since he sits on the Judiciary I jumped on the opportunity. He has always been VERY responsive in the past. ETA: You can also sign up for updates on specific bills which I jumped all over for those that I am already aware of.

I just completed the survey on Sen. Rafferty's website, and additionally added comment about how I wish to see all the bills mentioned (HB18-25, HB28-30) never leave committee.

In addition, I'll be writing him this evening, and I'm additionally considering scheduling a meeting with him if time allows.

Most of the bills concerning firearms are referred to the Judiciary Committee. Check those and the ones referred to the Crimes and (? can't remember) committee.
