Cabelas! Outstanding!

I've had plenty of horrific experiences with online sales and local gun shops lately but my most recent purchase from Cabelas was excellent. I got free shipping for an ammo can my wife wanted for our various documents and some 357 ammo and it arrived in 2 days. Just what I needed after an otherwise miserably shitty day was to come home and see a package that I didn't expect to have even shipped yet.

I to had a good experience yesterday at Cabelas, Delaware. I normally find them overpriced but had a $20 off $100 coupon and found primers on sale. 4,000 primers for $85.56 total, no tax and no HAZMAT fee. $21.12 a brick is amazing! Everything else is still overpriced.

Only a Mosin at $119 but no other guns. Ammo and supplies yes. Never an issue.

"2 days" isn't unusual - IF the vendor actually processes your order immediately. That's the key.
Some vendors offer various shipping options (which is awesome) and I always choose "free" when available, or whatever the lowest priced option is.
Two days later there is my order. It boggles my mind how quickly some things arrive even without paying a premium for expedited shipping.

Maybe it's because you didn't go there in person?

Good to hear. My last online purchase there was to redeem a Cabelas gift card for a Sig pistol mag. The shipping charge tacked on was 1/4 the cost of the mag and took me over the face value of the card...

I hit Cabelas up around Black Friday for their Herters Select 9mm at $10/box with free shipping. Got some .22 LR 2 weeks ago...price was pretty good but free hippie is tough to beat.
