    Question Shooting on Private Land In Chester County

    Hey all,

    I'm going to my buddies place in Chester County sometime in the next month or so to do some shooting on his property. It's a farm with acres 12 acres at where I'll be shooting, but almost 40 total. What are the laws regarding shooting an AR, for example, on private property of this acreage in PA?

    Edit: Looks to vary by township. Doing research on that now.

    From what I see it seems they only regulate shooting/hunting on Township Property. Code of Ordinances:

    Thats a good question...

    It will be shoot whatever and no one cares, or one shot and the swat team will be there. What part of the county?

    oh... ithought you meant chester city...cause there, it's only permissable on the sidewalk.

    I'm in East Nottingham and you are ok to shoot in this township. Many people shoot out here.
