This tends to be the best show of the year, but with the looming gun ban BS, prices will probably not be too good. At the last show prices were not bad in comparison, however, the foot traffic was down considerably. The vendors are greedy and unrealistic in their pricing.....and it reflects by the drop in FT.

Wasn't that way at Harrisburg. Prices were normal to a little lower, depending on what you were after. Best deal for black rifles I thought was colt 6921's for $850. Others were priced decent. As always there were some vendors looking for a home run on every sale.

So I'm curious - do you guys think there will be a decent degree of inflation, even for milsurp stuff? I'm still pretty new to milsurps (since May this year) but I'm starting to develop a big interest in it. Don't get my wrong, I do love my assault style ghost weapon, but I love history (and thus) milsurps too.

I kind of got into the milsurp market in hopes to avoid all the crazy inflation typical of black guns/bans. Hoping to score some decent deals on 30 06 for my Garand, maybe some x54r spam cans, and whatever else they have in the way of accessories for Garands, Mosins, and Mausers.

Lots of fat smelly guys will be there.

That typical for the December show? Either I didn't see many or didn't take much notice of it back when I went in May.

So be careful, research prices on everything you want before you get there, and try not to get emotional when you buy or you'll likely get taken to the cleaners.

When you walk in look for the fat stinky guy with bad teeth who is trying to sell stuff but is beyond annoyed when you ask to look at something.

Caution - a fat stinky guy with bad teeth who while still annoyed but is trying to buy instead of sell will be a member here so don't confuse the two.
