I went shooting yesterday. I took 4 hand guns. .45LC Schofield, snub nose .357 mag. and 2 1911s.
I sent 400+ rounds down range and this is what I found out.
1. .45LC Schofiled. (uberti). I really enjoyed shooting the Schofield. It had been over a year since I had it out. The gun was manageable in both hands. The single action hammer was easy to cock and the trigger pull was crisp.
2. The Snub nose S&W .357 mag became a handful after about 80 rounds.
3 One 1911 was a RIA GI. It ate everything I fed it with one exception. If I used the slide release the slide would not close all the way. Pulling the slide back and releasing it the slide worked every time. When I bought the gun it did that and I found some sticky stuff on the feed ramp and cleaned it off and it was good to go. The sticky stuff was back.
The other 1911 a S&W 1911PD worked flawlessly with every thing.
I have not shot the hand guns for quite some time, after 400+ rounds my hands were getting tired.
