Re: Moving to Pike in January
Way to go on applying for your LTCF early. It took me over 10 months to find the time to do that myself.
Next time I stop by Northeast and 911 Tactical, I'll check their prices on whatever Shield model you're looking for.

Re: Moving to Pike in January
Thanks man. I actually have some time today since my fiance is going out for a job interview so I might go to the sports store and northeast in honesdale today. If Keystone was open, I was going to go pick up one of the 5906's they have there. I still have a temp DL so I don't know how shops will feel about selling to me.

Re: Moving to Pike in January
I've been told that a temporary driver's license is acceptable, but I never made any gun purchases while I had my temporary license early last year.
They have 5906's locally? Damn, that's kicking it old school. They're reliable and built like tanks though. The closest thing I have to that is a 4013, which was my first pistol.

Not sure because our permanents came in the mail. Gotta say that I am surprised at the turn around. I was expecting a much longer time to get it in the mail. We got our temporarys on thursday and our permanents came in the mail on monday. I cant wait to grab a 5906!

Re: Moving to Pike in January
I'm a little late to the party, but...
Welcome to America. I escaped the confines of New York a few years ago for the welcoming embrace of Pike County.
Come to think of it, my deployment is almost complete. I'm ready to come home again!
Welcome to the neighborhood anyway.
