The best hunting season of all starts in a few days! Good luck to everyone heading out for flintlock season.

Good luck! A little bit of snow would be nice right about now.

Seriously, or a nice solid freeze over.

Tired of the swampy mess out there.

My favorite hunt. I got a new flintlock this year and it is lighting fast and super reliable. I am anxious to go. It can't possibly rain anymore, so we are in luck????????/

I will be playing around a bit myself this season. Still looking for a flintlock buck.

Was able to get out yesterday for a little while. Went to Gameland 202 just south of union city pa (1b area) first time there in quite a few years. Went to a known area seen plenty of deer just couldn't get a shot off. I couldn't go today, but plan on going somewhere tomorrow, not sure where but dang I love smoke pole hunting. I have no idea why it is so much fun but it really is. There was snow on ground but it was very crunchy, part of why I couldn't get a shot off. Good luck to everyone else going.

Didn't see a good buck in range during archery or Rifle. So I'm hoping to get one during the late season. Sat first morning in some bedding between two uncut Bean fields. Rain made it so farm equipment couldn't get to a few fields. Going to sit in a ground blind in the rain over some cut corn that meets up with uncut corn. Saw 30+ deer in the field two nights ago.
