Certainly not illegal (didn't see anything in the UFA covering such (and if it's not prohibited by law, then it's legal)), but it would probably attract attention, both wanted and unwanted. Pick up an Army-surplus M-37B1 three-quarter-ton truck, repaint it to its original colors and markings, and the M-3 would look right at home.

I would be very careful! HR 218 strictly and specifically forbids LEO's from carrying sound suppressors off duty, and I have a feeling if the government doesnt want them doing it, if push comes to shove, they wont want you doing it either.

On a related note....ever tried concealing a suppressed pistol?? lol
