I got a call from that number yesterday afternoon. 'Earliest appointment time available is 3/11! Can't believe they'd be that far behind.

My license will expire in that time, but the clerk says an extension has been placed on my permit until the end of March.

Anyone have updated experience with Lancaster? I'm up for renewal. Got a letter that they only do it online or at a kiosk now. Is Lancaster requiring references or no? Prefer not to list references or employer but will do what I have to.

I renewed mine March of '21, I don't recall having to provide references. Think I just had to sign a renewal card & maybe confirm my name/address/employer. The only change I can remember is that I needed to make an appointment.

Like a true dumbass, I forgot about the appointment. They called me to re-schedule (nice...) and I went in for the usual 15 minute/painless visit to get my new permit. I've been through their process maybe 4 times...they are always pleasant & accommodating.

Sheriff Leppler is a big 2A supporter and frequently shows up to support Republican candidates at fundraisers, petition signing events etc.

    He’s a good dude
