Lots of interest lately

Anyone else seem a lot of interest in gun ownership lately?

In the pass couple of months I have taken 3 friends to the range. This is them asking me to take then and not me pursuing then to give it a try.

I think there has always been an interest in learning to shoot and practice some form of self defense with firearms. Its just more of a public image now. People who normally would not pursue nor show any interest in guns are now showing more interest due to the current climate of civilization. Crimes have increased all across the country. Violent crime reports are up as well. More people are taking responsibility for themselves for several reasons and one of those reasons is the police departments across the nation are low staffed and under scrutiny and a fine tooth comb. Just my .2 I'm sure there is more to it, but in a nut shell its summed up to that

As I see it, the shall issue of LTCF has made the subject personal. People can now carry legaly and they know it. This was not the case in 1970. Gun control did not effect most people back then because they were not going to be able to get a license anyway. This change is exactly why the anti gun crowd is so active now. We are at a critical juncture. What side we tilt to will be extreme in nature and they know it.

If I'm not mistaken violent crimes are down and have been dropping steadily over the last 40 years, as gun ownership has grown

In the past week alone iv taken 3 people to the range after i helped them get their LTCF then to my LGS to buy a pistol. And 2 of the 3 i have convinced to join the NRA.

The more the merrier! Now you just need to get them out to the voting booth voting for the correct people.

My extreme left liberal friend is going for training and a gun in dec. I hear and see more of it every week.
I guess that's the hope and change we were promised.

I work part time at a local big box retailer. I have noticed a lot of 2nd Amendment shirts. Gives me the warm fuzzys. I also see a lot of Molon Labe stickers on cars and trucks. Gun stores I frequent are always occupied.
