Default Pair of bald eagles sighted

A little after 8 AM I saw a pair of bald eagles over my lake while I was walking the dog. For five minutes they wheeled, chased each other and dove at the water. There were some geese on the water and they honked in protest. Beautiful sight for a dull fall day. I have been watching through a window for an hour hoping for more. Anyone know of any ornithology organizations that would be interested in plotting the event?

I do not know of any groups recording bald eagle sightings, but I do know they are becoming more common in NEPA. I have seen three in my back yard within the last year or so.

The one was probable the most incredible wildlife sighting I've ever seen. You know the sound when a predator gets into a rabbit hutch. Well, I was in my yard, and I heard that sound. It's not uncommon for me to hear because my yard is surrounded by woods. However, this time, the sound was coming from above my head. As I looked up, I saw a red tail hawk with a small rabbit in its claws. Before I knew it, a bald eagle swooped in, turn sideways (mid air about 30 feet above my head), and snatched the rabbit from the hawk. The hawk was not happy to have its meal stolen. It gave chase to the much bigger eagle. The evasive maneuvers of the eagle were an absolutely incredible sight to see. It dove, changed directions, and barrel rolled like a fighter jet. The hawk finally gave up the chase. I looked up such flight patterns of bald eagles on YouTube because I thought my eyes were deceiving me. Seeing it in person was fascinating.

There's a couple up near 715 and Evergreen Hollow Rd that must fish the creek. Not sure if that's the same one's we see up near Fish and Pay behind NY Pizza Girl.

No, that's a bald Eagles fan. Bald eagles don't throw snowballs at Santa, and they are majestic symbols of winners!!

Ex Biker-Both those locations are possible. I am very close to Rts 715 and 209 so all those places are close together "as the crow flies."
